Bunnie XO Releases Video with Jelly Roll: “A Playful Entry into Congress to Ignite Change

Before Jelly Roll became a prominent figure in country music, poised for a potential Grammy Award, he faced challenges in navigating the legal landscape. Openly acknowledging his tumultuous past, the singer has frequently delved into discussions about his struggles with substance abuse. While he cannot alter his history, he aspires to shape a different future. Recently, Jelly Roll advocated for new legislation addressing the fentanyl crisis during a Senate hearing. Ever supportive, Bunnie XO, his wife, shared a video capturing the historic moment.

With a substantial fanbase, both Jelly Roll and Bunnie make it a point to connect with those who endorse their aspirations and careers. During a visit to the Senate, Bunnie opted to share a video featuring their entrance into the building. She playfully captioned the post, “Just an ex-drug dealer & ex-call girl skipping into Congress to start a revolution.” And, true to her words, she was indeed skipping.

Earning over 100,000 likes, the singer received acclaim from fans who commended him for utilizing his platform to inspire change. One fan expressed, “That speech was incredible. I had goosebumps the entire time, just like I do every time he gets fired up and starts sharing facts and spreading love!”

Holding Himself Accountable

In his address, Jelly Roll took accountability for his involvement in the drug trade, acknowledging, “I was the uninformed man in the kitchen experimenting with drugs I knew absolutely nothing about, much like the drug dealers are doing now—mixing every drug on the market with fentanyl, and they’re taking the lives of the people we cherish.”

Having personally witnessed the devastating impact of drug abuse, Jelly Roll revealed the heart-wrenching toll it had taken on his life. “I could sit here and mourn for days about the caskets I’ve carried of people I love dearly, deeply in my soul. Good people, not just drug addicts. Uncles, friends, cousins, everyday individuals.” Jelly Roll urged the Senate to contemplate the FEND Off Fentanyl Act, proposing a bill aimed at “addressing the nation’s fentanyl crisis by focusing on opioid traffickers wreaking havoc in communities across America.”
