Paul Stanley Offers Insights on Dealing with the Frustration of Social Media Trolls

On the final day of 2023, many rock stars took to social media to extend their wishes for the new year. Breaking away from the trend, Paul Stanley adopted a different approach for his closing statement. The KISS singer posted on his Twitter account to remind his fans of an important rule to consider before engaging on social media platforms. He stated:

“Before you post or respond to any posts in the coming year, try to remember…” Stanley accompanied his message with a quote focused on the concept of ‘stupidity.’ The singer included a statement previously shared by comedian Ricky Gervais. Gervais expressed, as relayed by Stanley: “When you’re dead, you don’t know you’re dead. The pain is felt by others. The same thing happens when you’re stupid.”

Paul Stanley Has No Patience for Rudeness on Social Media

Around this time last year, Stanley took to Twitter once again to clarify his stance of zero tolerance towards individuals using social media platforms to insult him. While he acknowledged personally reading comments from fans about his life and career, Paul also disclosed that he had assistants assisting him in removing any disrespectful remarks. The singer explained:

“For everyone who asks. Yes! Twice a week or more, I read all your comments. I do have a few people who go through them all before to save me from having to delete and block the idiots who waste time with stupidity or rudeness. You are awesome, and I love hearing from you. Happy holidays!”

In today’s world, social media has unfortunately evolved into a platform for criticizing and demeaning others. Stanley emphasizes the importance of being cautious about how we utilize these platforms. He continues to encourage people to think twice before posting something that might hurt or disrespect others. You can find the advice Paul Stanley shared for his fans on Twitter below.
